Sub-Region: Cima Corgo Grape varieties: Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Barroca Vinification: 100% destemming, fermentation with temperature control, and daily manual pumping over. Matured in French and American oak barrels for 8 month. This wine was not filtered. It may through a deposit with age. Colour: deep red colour. Aroma: young, rich and powerful nose. Red ripe fruits with a hint of spices and vanilla aromas. Taste: soft, full-bodied and long finish. Alcohol (%vol): 13,0 Total acidity (g/l tartaric acid): 5,48 Residual sugar (g/l): 1,60 Total SO2(mg/l): 95 Drink now through 2006 at 16-18 ºC. Total production: 20.000 bottles. Bottled in July 2003.
